Senior Manager, Business Automation & Transformation
Job Purpose:  
We are currently seeking an experienced candidate for Business Automation & Transformation and cost optimization in Telenor Myanmar. The ideal candidate will need to analyze and understand the business processes. You will be responsible for taking the business through the strategic roadmap to continue increase the percentage of activities which are classed as fully digital.

Digital Transformation & Automation

  • Involve deeper and broader human impact connected with digitalization to eliminate manual routine tasks and transform end to end digitize solution.

  • Advanced analytics for overall business operations to uncover hidden growth opportunities.

  • Data visualization to give end users access to real-time financial information and improve organizational performance.

  • Strong collaboration with business stakeholders, IT and digital partners to implement transformation journey.

  • Quick observation and decision making are critical in this role to decide or suggest the idea (the right workflow set up) to the stakeholders in the case of complex issues.

  • Idea of implementation method such as user experience and design thinking to transform traditional working culture to digital arena.

  • Define and structure the digital initiatives in line with company’s strategic direction by configuring new automated processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.

  • Define the success criteria of the strategic initiatives and ensure to realize the tangible and intangible benefits that deliver from the projects.

  • Effective communication and reporting to senior management for the digitization plan, progress & development, risk assessment and mitigation plan.

  • Ensure best practices and processes across the digital team for the consistent delivery of digital projects.

  • Knowledge in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligent (AI) would be credited.

  • Planning, Analytical, Project management and Change management skill are critical to drive Company’s transformation agenda.

Cost Office Management

  • Core responsibility to support company financial strategy, sustainable growth factors and Cost optimization by driving the structural cost initiatives for both short-term and long-term.

  • Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to facilitate strategic cost saving agenda with analytical and improvement opportunities.

  • Perform in-depth cost analysis on benchmarking in order to adopt market best practices into organization.

  • Knowledge in financial background to access and oversee the business case and potential financial impact.

  • Continuously update oneself with changes in related trend, which affect tools, processes, systems, and frameworks relevant to the role, in order to maintain knowledge levels required to perform complicated tasks.

  • Ensure that one own area of assignments and contributions are appropriate to meet organization needs while pursuing improved performance.

  • Define the areas in organization to simply the process and automate/ digitalize the manual work to support as part of Org. Strategy to drive Digitalization journey.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the company, especially Financial controllers, Reporting, Planning, Operation & Sourcing team for deep understanding of cost drivers and brainstorming to find the core initiatives.

  • Flag out the OPEX challenges & immediate mitigation plan to senior management to deliver the OPEX target.

  • Report monthly & quarterly performance, realize saving, risk and mitigation plan.

  • Celebration with winning team who drive efficiency uplift to achieve the cost target.

Required qualifications & experiences

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree.

  • Minimum 5+ years progressively managerial experience, ideally within a global corporate footprint.

  • Successful experience of major automation/digital transformations, ideally in-service operations with a heavy focus on both top and bottom line improvement.

  • Top tier strategy or execution consulting experience with Digital and Lean or Opex management experience preferred.

  • Strong problem solving, influence, and negotiation skills.

  • Understand end-to-end financial processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership.

  • Strong organizational and workload management skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Proven people management skills in a high-transaction environment.

Language requirement: Myanmar, English
