We are looking to hire an Account Manager. Below are expectations: 5+ years in account management at an agency Looking for cross-service expertise with a strong SEO knowledge Must have a good understanding of the following services (ability to speak to all of them, not expected to understand the specifics of execution): Website Tracking / Google Analytics, PPC, Social Media Marketing, SEO (technical + on-page), content development + promotion, link building, email marketing, conversion rate optimization, website development.
The candidate should be able to openly discuss strategy around these areas, understand how they work together in supporting goals of increasing traffic, conversions, etc. and develop client roadmaps to achieve their goals utilizing these services
The candidate should be able to identify when each service is needed, based on conversations around the clients concerns, issues, etc. (Example: a client tells us that they saw their traffic plummet, the candidate should know that to troubleshoot that, we will want to make sure website tracking is still accurate & then identify any indexation issues with the SEO team) Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills (& comfortable presenting to clients via video conference and in-person) Must have a strong understanding of analyzing data in Google Analytics / Google Search Console for reporting purposes Must be extremely well organized with excellent time & task management skills Must be a self-starter, skilled at identifying opportunities for growth and upsell within client roster
