The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business through named Value-added Resellers. Primary duties include managing a portfolio of existing partners and driving YoY bookings growth, developing a 5x goal cloud focused Pipeline, developing Strategic Go-to-market plans with the Executives leading the partner firms, identify the specific actions to drive the business plan and drive the Genesys’ internal teams to create an ideal environment for Value-added Resellers to exceed sales goals.

The Channel Sales Manager will own the relationship with named partners and drive specific initiatives leveraging the different Genesys teams to develop and execute on Marketing, Education/Training, Success, Implementation, Support and Business operations plans with your partners.

To do this you will;

  • Execute on the channel sales strategy in Thailand as part of the overall SEA go-to-market (GTM).
  • Develop a Service Provider/Telco GTM in Thailand.

What You’ll Do: In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

This role is a high visibility role, with a focus on increasing the total addressable market through increased channel coverage in Thailand and the overall Service Provider/Telco in Thailand. Principle Accountabilities:

Execute the Channel Sales Strategy in Thailand SEA through a combination of local and regional resellers and execute on well-crafted channel programs

  • The candidate will be measured against bookings targets. Partners include NTT Thailand, Beryl 8, IIG, SCM, G-Able, NTT Data, Terrabit, True Business, etc
  • Responsible for directly managing existing partners, build a shared vision and partner plan, execute on QBR’ and run the channel cadence
  • Partner enablement leading to joint engagement in the field.
  • Partner with the CSM team to drive Genesys Cloud adoption

Partner with the Genesys Marketing and SDR team to craft out suitable Demand Generation and Market awareness activities to increase partner pipeline..Establish the Sell-thru Sales motion with True Business to sell GenesysCloud in Thailand

  • Partner with True Business Product team and key cross-functional teams (Sales/pre-sales and Delivery) to execute on the Service Creation/GC GTM thru True Business
  • Collaborate with True Business on Demand Generation and account mapping activities.
  • Execute on Enablement across all the key functions (Sales, pre-sales, Services and Support).
  • Establish linkages with PS and local partners for Implementation Services/ Level 1 support
  • Drive local initiatives by leverage each other’ partner ecosystem (MSFT, AWS, etc.)

You’ve been there and done this…

  • Experienced and proficient with the channel partner ecosystem with extensive experience within Thailand and exposure to SEA
  • Experience managing telco partners and familiarity with Cloud GTM will be preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience within a software / solutions environment. Extensive business knowledge built upon a strong technology foundation, with sales/Channels background.
  • Inquisitive and persistent: always looking for a new way to do things. Asking the tough questions – expertise to see the “big picture”.
  • Familiarity with the CX business/Collaboration space and a good understanding of technology is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Able to travel as needed.
