Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands and feet support to the end-users whenever required to resolve the issue
  • Understanding of the Desktop Support technology area(s) and understanding across infrastructure components.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications ( 2016 / O365 ) and other common desktop applications
  • Work with Support Teams (FMS) and Assistants on the call management and support processes.
  • Ensure all end-user computing calls are closed and SLA’s met and tracked.
  • Awareness of all mainstream mobile technologies and application clients (Android, IOS, Windows)
  • Support all application teams on specific application issues and resolution required.
  • Manages service escalation to resolution, and identifies continuous improvement opportunities as appropriate.
  • Clear understanding and working knowledge on DNS, DHCP.
  • Remote control tools such as RDP.
  • Networking skills including TCP/IP and the ability to configure network printers.
  • Provide remote support for all the CFA locations under them
  • Align engineer for Hands and Feet support at CFA locations if required

 

Technical/Functional Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of Windows desktop operating system (Win7, Win10..etc)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, O365 and Windows Server, DHCP, DNS, Networks, Antivirus, endpoints encryption, PC hardware and software, basic knowledge of Windows networking, Printer and smartphone
  • Knowledge & experience supporting Audio & Video Meeting room equipment’s such as Microsoft Team Rooms, Cisco, Polycom, Polycom, Tandberg, Kramer, Extron and Crestron
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a fast-paced/demanding environment.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills & customer service values/practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), capable of bridging the gap between technology and business functions. Ability to create technical documentation
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision
  • Excellent and accurate documentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly absorb and retain information keen attention to detail
  • Must be a highly motivated individual that can work as part of a team to accomplish goals

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in IT / IS discipline or equivalent
  • At Least 2 years of related IT experience
  • ITIL certification preferred.
