Position: Executive Chef
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent
Employment location: Mandalay
Salary: 1.1 mil MMK +++ or Nego
(Candidates who had experience in Yakiniku in Japan are preferable)
• Vocational School or above
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in a Yakiniku restaurant with a capacity of 110 diners
• Comprehensive and diverse culinary background with a well-developed set of skills in being able to cope in a large, diverse working environment; working experience in Japan at a managerial level strongly preferred
• Good knowledge of Japanese cuisines
• Strong financial skill; understands Profit & Loss statements and budgeting protocols (Candidates with computer skill are preferable)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
• Excellent logistical, culinary and leadership skills
• Have knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed
• Have a well-groomed, professional appearance
