This role will be remote. HQ is based in San Jose (US) but the primary focus and function is to support our global teams, 8x8 products and carrier services within the 3 specified regions: EMEA, APAC & Latin America

Responsibilities

  • Work/execute provisioning service orders via JIRA ticketing platform
  • Provision and document global telco and network carrier services, i.e., numbers, emergency services, and other related services
  • Assist with managing global telephone number inventory across suppliers
  • Cultivate relationships with 8x8 telecommunication and network providers
  • Coordinate between internal business units to communicate and ensure compliance with carrier and country regulatory requirements
  • Manage escalations with external and internal business entities as they arise during the provisioning process 
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assist and train Telco Provisioners on best practices working with Carriers through the provisioning process
  • Assist with regulatory compliance projects for international customers
  • Additional duties as needs of the business dictate

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working within the Telecommunications industry 
  • Technical Account Manager experience with a Carrier is a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience working at or with Hyperscale companies
  • Knowledge of the basic milestones within the Telecom provisioning process and how to manage the lifecycle
  • Confidence and ability to lead troubleshooting and escalation efforts with service providers
  • Self-motivated with the ability to dive right in, be effective and make a difference
  • Familiarity with G-Suite, Asana, Jira
  • Strong Excel skills a plus
