Having developed proprietary, patented technology, the company is the market leader in Myanmar whilst building a team of more than 2000 employees. To support its ongoing growth and long-term ambitions, there is an immediate requirement to appoint a seasoned local/repatriate HR professional as its Head of Human Resources
Leading a lean HR team whilst supporting 2000+ employees, this is a fabulous opportunity to make a positive impact within a well-respected, fast-growing company. Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with Executive Management peers, the appointed individual will develop and fine-tune appropriate HR strategies, policies and operational framework whilst ensuring alignment to core business functions. The successful individual will lead and shape all critical aspects of HR including organisational development, leadership development, succession planning, strategic recruitment and retention plans, compensation and benefits and the development of operational SOPs. This is an exciting, highly influential position that will enjoy full responsibility to plan, drive and execute Human Capital transformation.
Interested candidates will offer a Degree in Human Resources, a minimum of 12+ years’ HR experience including at least 3-4 years’ in a senior leadership capacity and an excellent bi-lingual command of written and spoken Burmese and English language skills. Essential will be a need to proactively plan, develop and execute HR strategy whilst collaborating with the local and international senior management team whilst remaining hands-on to oversee operational execution by the supporting HR team. Prior exposure to the technology sector would be advantageous but not essential, however, prior leadership within a large, fast-growing company is strongly preferred. International experience will be highly desirable including exposure to the HR practices of top-tier Multinational corporations.
