• Support manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets for the HR information systems function to ensure efficient usage of resources

• Execute short- and long-term plans to cater to HR's system requirement needs, in line with Group-wide offerings and IT governance standards

• Provide administrative support in the review, design, testing and implementation of HR information systems-related solutions (e.g. SAP HR, talent portal, HR dashboard, e-recruitment, etc.) to drive HR strategic and operational effectiveness

• Coordinate the ongoing day-to-day HR information systems and data integration between various system platforms (e.g. SAP HR, HR payroll system, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of HR operational activities

• Conduct simple reviews of system workflows and specifications. Compile HR information systems evaluation data for review purposes. Manage high-level data quality in all HR systems

• Conduct simple, non-complex diagnosis and troubleshooting on software packages, security, password problems, etc., as part of supporting stakeholders' day-to-day IT queries/requests

• Prepare training materials, coordinate training schedules and communications to equip employees with the necessary knowledge to operate existing/new/updated systems

• Support HR information systems projects to enhance existing system needs (e.g. new system implementation, HR system upgrades, standardization to global requirements, etc.). Coordinate external vendor evaluation activities to facilitate vendor selection for such initiatives

• Support internal stakeholders to ensure stakeholder requirements are met regarding SAP HR, talent portal, global HR dashboard, e-recruitment, etc.

• Respond to queries and requests from external IT vendors/consultants to facilitate smooth running of system upgrade/improvement initiatives

Skills and knowledge

•Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the business and industry

• Demonstrate sound knowledge in SAP HR, talent management, HR information systems trends, best practices, design, solution evaluation and the use of appropriate technologies

• Demonstrate basic knowledge in HR-related needs and provide consulting on design and delivery of HR information systems solutions

• Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills

• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken


• Degree in IT or a related discipline

Work experience

• Up to two years' experience in a similar role
