Job Detail

The Ideal Candidate Must

  • Have strong communication skill, ie. English active. Plus enthusiastic and vibrant personality.
  • Able to work earlier than local business hours: ie. start from 6AM WIB finish at 3 PM WIB (with lunch break 1 hour) , for 5 days/week Mon-Fri - remotely.

Duties

  • Provide level 1/2/3 technical support for all desktops, servers, hardware, LAN, WAN and IP related communications
  • Provide timely, efficient and accurate technical support and escalating any major issues that may arise
  • Effective, accurate and timely communication with all users
  • Constant monitoring and checking of server’s health and event alert. Escalate to 3rd level support when necessary
  • Ensure IT support requests are resolved or escalated in a timely manner
  • Ensure effective backup procedures are in place and completed successfully
  • Ensure IT Documentation is kept current and accurate
  • Provide support and assistance for successful implementation of IT projects
  • After hours support and occasional planned system maintenance.
  • All other ad-hoc duties as required.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • 3+ years of relevant system administration, operations and support coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications
  • Experience of Windows 7 and 10
  • Experience of Windows servers 2000/2003/2008/2012 administration and deployment
  • Experience with windows AD, DNS, DHCP and WSUS services.
  • Experience of Microsoft Exchange email server and outlook 2003/2007/2010/2013 client
  • Experience of Linux operating system (Centos/Redhat)
  • Experience of Virtualization (VMware) and SAN storage
  • Experience of networking devices (Switches, routers, WIFI) and IP networking
  • Microsoft office packages
  • Enterprise Anti-virus
  • Backup Management (Symantec Backup Exec)
  • IIS, Apace tomcat and basic webmaster skills
  • Windows Group Policy Management
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment

Desirables

  • Knowledge or experience with Juniper/WatchGuard/Fortinet firewall devices
  • Knowledge or experience with Link controller and load balancer devices
  • Knowledge or experience with external DNS Service, Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, google compute etc.) and CDN solution.
  • Bachelor in IT degree or equivalent
  • international project exposure is a plus
