Lead UI Designer - Tatsu Works | New Day Jobs (Yangon, Myanmar)

Tatsu Works is a company passionate about connecting communities through Tatsumeeko, our modern fantasy RPG. We are looking for a highly experienced Lead UI designer to join us and guide a team of talented team of artists and designers in working on Tatsumeeko, the next game expansion to our popular Tatsu.GG platform used by more than 1.4 million Discord communities. We place fun gameplay, awesome user experience, and mass adoption at the forefront of our creative vision. Our team is looking for someone who can inspire and be inspired by others so we can build an eye pleasing and fun experience for Tatsumeeko. The ideal candidate will have a passion for modern or game user interface design, a keen eye for detail and the ability to take initiative. The Lead UI designer joining us will share our vision and make this project their own.

Lead UI Designer Responsibilities

• Ensure the design and the graphics production of the game’s UI
• Develop concepts and design eye pleasing but functional game UI
• Work closely with the art director, engineers and game designers to produce functional UI
• Keep in mind the overall user flow throughout each screen and wireframe made for each feature
• Design the user interface and guide other UI designers

• Have a creative and artistic nature
• Want to work on a project with unique market positioning that has mass adoption by communities and players around the world
• Can create, evolve and execute an artistic vision for the User Interface, have an excellent eye for detail and know what successful games look like
• Obsess over making the design pixel perfect and up to web / mobile standards
• Are able to work with the engineering teams to create features
• Are able to understand the pain points in UI development on the engineering teams
• Can work efficiently and within deadlines
• Have minimum of 5 years of UI design experience
• Have graphic design experience
• Possess top-notch communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Have extensive experience in Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator or other similar software
• Have experience using Discord servers and interacting with online communities
• You enjoy mobile gacha games and MMORPGs
• You have a strong grasp of English
