Marketing Specialist Asia Pacific- THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN SINGAPORE
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Specialist works closely with Optomec APAC management and the US Marketing Team to create and execute effective marketing communication programs to increase brand awareness and support lead generation. This person is responsible for ongoing events management, lead generation programs development and creation of marketing collaterals. The role includes both direct market engagement and collaborative work with regional Channel Partners.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Events Management:
- Plan and manage regional marketing events: tradeshows, seminars, webinars, open houses etc.
- Support regional Channel Partners with their Marketing Efforts
- Working closely with Applications team to ensure availability and production of printed models for events
- Coordinates pre-event and onsite promotion activities including email and phone campaigns
- Liaises with Associations, potential Industry partners and Education institutions to explore partnerships and collaborative promotion opportunities
Lead Generation and Nurturing:
- Works closely with US Marketing team to develop and execute various lead generation programs (web-based, email, phone, etc.)
- Works closely with regional Channel Partners to support company’s indirect Lead generation activities
- Plan and perform ongoing nurturing programs
- Perform ongoing Social Media engagement and initiate new lead generation campaigns
Marketing Collaterals:
- Ensure correct, consistent, and up to date brand and product line representation
- Support assets development (brochures, banners, ads, collaterals, corporate presentations, infographics, etc.)
- Ensure timely new collaterals updates to the regional Channel Partners
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Business Administration or another related field
- At least 2 years of related experience in events management, lead management, social media, marketing communications and/or other related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Must) and Mandarin (Advantage)
- Experience in a B2B environment (Advantage)
- High proficiency in Microsoft office applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Graphic Design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop a plus
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Pardot or other CRM / LeadGen tools

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Based in Singapore
- Remote (Work from Home) mode with potential office environment in the future
- Occasional requirement for outside meetings and lab visits
- 10% travel as required for trade shows, etc.
