We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchant Operation Specialist based in Singapore. The role will be responsible for merchant onboarding & training activities, day-to-day hands-on support of deploying, training , managing the overall onboarding process of new merchants for hoolah in-store solution, and merchant support tickets management

- Conduct in-store merchant onboarding activities and merchant trainings, build best practices and continuously refine the merchant experience along the onboarding journey over time, including onboarding training, QR code processes etc.
- Focus on developing and continuous improvement of merchant training contents, guidelines and operational process to further optimize merchant in-store operation
- Identify and report gaps or opportunities to improve the merchant onboarding process to bring new merchants up to speed
- Provide weekly reports on merchant onboarding status, pipeline and target go live dates.
- Manage merchant support tickets, and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure tickets be taken care as per SLA
- Work cross-functionally to support special events and promotion campaigns.
Are you ready to be a hoolahgan?
- 3-5 years of experience in retail operations/e-Commerce space to drive operational excellence at regional level.
- In-depth knowledge of the retail & e-commerce sector, as well as high standards of client experience, using that knowledge to make sound business decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills in order to manage many concurrent work streams.
- Retail expert - be able to see things from the consumer's perspective and go the extra mile to deliver a world class experience.
- Have experience in inbound sales
- Effective communicator with sound interpersonal and communications skills
- Startup mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done
- Desire to learn & challenge the norms and bias and not afraid to try new approaches
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- PHD qualified (Passionate, Hungry, Determined)
