Network Security Engineer - iScale Solutions | New Day Jobs (Yangon, Myanmar)

• Configure, support and maintain daily operations of network security including after office hours standby support.
• Administrate cloud and regional office networks including firewalls, router & switches, wireless AP & controllers, VPN gateways as well as maintaining proper documentation such as network diagrams, configurations, procedures, standards etc.
• Monitor and response to network and security incidents, remediate or highlight alerts as appropriate, such as network unreachable or high latency issue, intrusions, malware infections, etc.
• Troubleshoot all kinds of network related issue, actively maintain and optimize current configuration, carry out proper administration and support regional requests of network & security.
• Perform patch management in regular and ad-hoc basis, report and remediate network weaknesses found.
• Report on key compliance and operational metrics of network and security, take action to maintain compliance to security standards and policy, escalate non-compliance in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer-related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in design/implement/maintain technical solutions for Network & Security
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and relevant protocols is MANDATORY required; Knowledge in Microsoft/Linux server administration, application development and scripting is a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of security frameworks and methodologies for controls, compliance and auditing – NIST, ISO27001, related industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of network OSI layer and TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, TLS/SSL, SNMP/NTP/NetFlow, LDAP/RADIUS/TACACS+
• Hands-on experience with Cisco router/switches/wireless + NPS/ISE, Checkpoint/Fortinet firewall/VPN, F5 LTM/ASM/AWAF load balancers…etc.
• Knowledge with conducting network packet and malware analysis, incident/continuous response process, and network monitoring tools.
• Ability to review and improve current network security configuration, process and procedures.
• Experience with web application and network vulnerability scanning
• Understanding of information security management and data classification
• Knowledge of encryption techniques and PKI infrastructure
• Knowledge of application development and scripting languages. Ability to perform application security testing is a plus.
