We are looking for experienced Pharmacists with a passion for healthcare for Myanmar.

We are a leading, international Healthcare Technology company with more than 600 medical service points across Asia.

What is the role?  

We’re seeking a Pharmacist to manage the dispensing of medication to patients of our dispensaries. In this role, you will provide medication for patients of all ages, and you will educate patients and their families about the proper use of medications to ensure they receive the correct dosage. You are also responsible for providing drug information to Physicians and clinic staff.   

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Performing and supervising drug procurement, dispensing, clinical medication-use, and process / policy setting
  • Providing professional advice on medications selection for dispensaries
  • Coordinating with and supporting clinical staff in drug inventory control
  • Monitoring and meeting medication-use compliance to meet in-house quality standards
  • Regular reviewing and updating of all in-house pharmaceutical policies and protocols
  • Identifying and assessing areas of improvement in the dispensary process, then suggesting rectifications and preventive actions
  • Assisting the development of corporate pharmaceutical services to meet operation objectives

Job requirements

  • Passion in developing the expertise to help patients use their medications responsibly and effectively
  • A Certificate of Registration and practicing certificate issued by a recognized national certification provider
  • At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in public or private healthcare
  • Ability to uphold the principles of service implementation, while ensuring compliance with the Group policy and practices
  • Sound analytical skills and result-driven with strong initiative, integral and committed character
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Willingness to travel between our central office and various pharmacy/clinic locations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of administrative computer use including Microsoft office
  • Fluency in Burmese and English
