Job Detail

We are looking to hire a Virtual Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be able to wear different hats to ensure quality output that would help the core team of MDS based in the US.

This role is 100% remote work. You’re expected to work full time, 40 hours per week, hours required during 2:00pm - 5:30pm PDT. Weekly Thursday meeting happens at 5:00pm - 6:30pm PDT and the remaining hours are on flexible shift. Employee agrees to be responsive to communications within 15 minutes or less during agreed upon work times. Please note the work schedule is subject to change if the needs of the company change.

The ideal candidate should have the following hard and soft skills:

  • Proven track record of Virtual Assistant experience, knowledge in Shopify preferred
  • Extremely organized and process-oriented
  • Ability to communicate professionally and enthusiastically and engage with all levels of management
  • High level of integrity with a positive attitude
  • Self-directed and entrepreneurial work style

Here are some examples of how this workload will be achieved:

  • Prepare and manage the calendar of events
  • Prepare content and template postings for community lead
  • Assist community lead in any tasks given
  • Reach out to potential speakers, experts, service providers, and set up calls
  • Create lists of potential apps, speakers, and more
  • Help facilitate the weekly calls and make sure postings are happening
  • Create content from watching webinars, round-ups of apps, service providers, etc (i.e. top apps for doing email marketing or top landing page creators) 
  • Reach out to members that are not engaging and see how we can help
  • Track all metrics assigned to community leader and support role
  • Provide weekly updates on the progress of the group 
  • Create weekly newsletter updates from top posts
  • Organize the database of files, videos, and other assets
  • Look for good members in other similar Facebook groups and message them about our group
  • Look for good informative posts in other similar Facebook groups
  • Reach out to prospects and introduce them to our group
  • Understand and work by the Entrepreneurial Operating Systems (EOS) method
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality in every task
  • Quick to communicate and respond when needed
  • Other tasks assigned by the management team

Why You Should Join Us

We are looking for a candidate that is ready to start as soon as possible. There are a number of pre-interview documents, HR Interview, and test tasks that will need to be completed before the final interview with the CEO. If you are chosen for the role, we will provide a contract and expect you to begin within the week. The onboarding will be broken up into 3 periods over 90 days where you will go through training, have your performance tracked, and then be put on our ongoing employment status. 

The initial application has two (2) parts, should take about an hour to complete, and has components that may not be paused midway. Please make sure you manage your time accordingly.
