Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in supply chain or reverse logistics operations.
  • Experience with people management, and cross-functional relationship management.
  • Experience with third-party vendor management in the Asia Pacific region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with SAP order management systems, Tableau reporting, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, and be a team player with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to innovate, and takes creative approaches to problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Bias for directly engaging cross-functional teams and customers using information derived to implement operational excellence and drive customer satisfaction through execution.

About The Job

The Reverse Supply Chain team at Google is responsible for delivering innovative and cost effective post-sales experiences for Google’s Hardware portfolio globally. As the Reverse Logistics Manager, you will manage a team to drive program outcomes to design, launch, standardize, and optimize operational processes of both vendor and internal teams. You will help your team navigate through and produce successful outcomes in support of regional reverse logistics operations.

In this position, you will be part of the Google Hardware Reverse Supply Chain team to help drive business process and cost efficiencies in our service network that supports innovative hardware products. You will work closely with several internal cross-functional teams including Planning, Transportation, Sales, Finance and Service engineering teams internally within Google and external service partners to drive business process improvements and cost efficiencies through impactful operations management.

Fitbit’s diverse line of innovative products of smartwatches, trackers and smart scale help people lead healthier, more active lives by empowering them with data, inspiration and guidance to reach their health and fitness goals. Our products deliver personalized experiences, insights and guidance through leading software and interactive tools to support our users’ health and wellness. Partnering with Google will expand our resources and global platform, and we will be able to accelerate innovation in the wearables category to scale faster, and make health even more accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct management of Regional Reverse Logistics operations to include RMA management, credit processing, inventory control, cross-functional customer relationship management and vendor management.
  • Develop and implement processes and process controls to optimize costs, efficiencies and drive customer compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, consolidate operations, reduce logistics costs, localize operations and support customer service and supply chain regional initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve issues related to customer Service-Level Agreements, escalations, exceptions or operational execution anomalies in support of Go-to-Market teams.
  • Be directly responsible for the identification and allocation of resources both internally and with vendors externally to ensure operational execution efficiencies are attained, maintained and improved.
