We are expanding and looking for experienced and suitable Risk & Compliance Officer.

You are expected to: -

  • Develop and update procedures and policies applicable to Singapore
  • Control the application and compliance of such procedures
  • Establish and submit internal audit reports and recommendations to the Management
  • Establish and maintain a Compliance Manual in accordance with the on-going requirements taking into account the existing IPPC
  • Ensure on-going compliance with the provisions of AML/CFT regulations and other applicable rules as a Compliance Officer
  • Monitor the regime of ACRA, MAS, IRAS and other relevant regulatory authorities and carry out timely reporting
  • Perform Due Diligence checks on all clients including their connected parties -beneficial owners, officers, agents etc
  • Review all onboarding documents and assess the risk profile upon acceptance of clients
  • Conduct periodical review of existing clients
  • Ensure that all employees are adequately trained in ML/TF prevention and proper maintenance of training records
  • Perform screening of all new employees and maintain strict confidential records
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties pertaining to Compliance

Requirements

  • Degree Holder
  • At least 5 years’ experience of relevant compliance experience
  • Good knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and other applicable rules
  • Good understanding of Compliance role and risk-based Compliance approach, and ability to identify and remediate key Compliance risks
  • Be self-motivated and able to work well independently
  • Ability to manage projects autonomously (reflection, analysis, implementation, training)
  • Good analytical skills and meticulous
  • Good command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Tact and discretion combined with a high sense of ethics
