The Role: 

The sales executive is responsible for planning, implementing and managing MAGWAI’s overall sales strategy. This person must have a strong business acumen and be able to identify growth drivers and opportunities and craft plans accordingly. S/he will lead account presentations and negotiations to ensure business plans are approved and implemented. S/he will establish and maintain a strong relationship with his/her accounts and connect key stakeholder functions with their MAGWAI counterparts.

Key Job Accountabilities: 

1.     Develop and manage retailer/account portfolio in line with MAGWAI’s brand strategy

2.     Drive the performance of the retailer/account by identifying business opportunities and implementing efficient sales-generating activities (promotions, merchandising initiatives, O+O category activations, etc.)

3.     Build and lead category reviews (category and brand strategy alignment)

4.     Collect and analyze sales information to monitor sales performance and provide weekly and monthly reports

5.     Ensure regular outlet buying and manage in-store execution

6.     Secure trade contracts and agreements

7.     Lead weekly sales calls and field visits to discuss sales performance and activity updates

8.     Establish and maintain good relationships with retailer/account by providing market and channel insights relevant to the category/product, sharing new opportunities/benefit spaces and recommending profit and service improvements

9.     Be the account expert to support consumer-centric business development planning with internal stakeholders i.e. supply chain, marketing, finance etc.

10.  Establish sales systems/processes

11.  Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities (Resorts B2B and Resorts Gift Shop) 

Qualifications: 

1.     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Industrial Engineering or any related field

2.     Competency in MS Office programs (preferably with intermediate skills in MS Excel)

3.     1-2 years of experience in sales and marketing is a plus

4.     Proficient in English

5.     Excellent written, presentation, communication and negotiation skills

6.     Commitment to excellent customer service with superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders

7.     Goal-oriented with the ability to adapt in a competitive environment
