Job Description

As the senior backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying OpenAPI compatible APIs protected with API keys, built using Javascript scripts for the Node.Js backend.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop serverless functions following the microservice architecture model, using Javascript.

- Design backend architecture and database schema for each project.

- Manage project sprint plannning and issues using JIRA.

- Distribute tasks/issues to team of developers.

- Take standup meetings with development team with SCRUM methodology.

- Write unit tests for all the code with good coverage.

- Develop and maintain Cl/CD pipelines in github.

- Build quality code that is easily readable, scalable and maintainable.

- Release developer friendly documentation as per the OpenAPI specification using swaggerUI.

- Mentor junior engineers by reviewing their code, guiding them in right direction.

Job Requirements

- 5+ years of working experience using Javascript and Golang

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)

- Knowledge of JIRA issue, sprint and epic management 

- Experience in designing and developing serverless applications

- Experience with building protected APIs according to OpenAPI specification

- Good to have experience in building efficient CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with mentoring junior engineers

- Ability to up-skill in new technologies

- Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
