TORRAS is an international tech accessories & wearable devices brand seating over a million users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe and Japan.
You will work remotely as a Senior Copywriter in collaboration with our Global Brand Marketing team based in Shenzhen, responsible for the creative crafting and direction of copy for all marketing material including TORRAS’s owned social media channels, advertising, product catalog, press material, website, and more.
In this role, you will be constantly in touch with cutting-edge lifestyles on a global scale. You are on top of the lingo necessary to speak with our audiences, with a discerning nature when it comes to inviting anyone outside of it. You are expected to deliver creative and communicative copy while exercising empathy and tact on behalf of the brand and its values. While building affinity, you will also be an effective communicator of our products to our global audiences.
As the Senior Copywriter, you are a leading figure in the Global Brand Marketing team and are always ready to rise to any challenging brief with a keen eye for detail, a knack for the most apt delivery, and a drive to deliver the sharpest and the most dazzling copy.
The Senior Copywriter is in charge of influencing consumers by delivering a clear message, as well as using their initiative to seek out new trends and incorporate them into campaigns effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing Director, Brand Planning Manager, Visuals and Integrated Marketing teams to determine the conceptual and copy direction of branding and advertising initiatives
- Work closely with the Brand Planning Manager to create and refine processes and implementing a cohesive content creation strategy
- Strategize with Brand Marketing, Product and Sales teams to define a consistent brand voice and pull it through all our external communications.
- Develop and create effective, engaging concepts for promotions that support business objectives that adhere to TORRAS’s global brand voice
- Deliver engaging social content and generating in-product copy to support promotions and marketing initiatives
- Research, interview and ideate with the Brand Marketing team to ensure we are providing genuine, accurate points of view for copies
- Creating SEO-rich content to supplement existing website copies with an aim to deliver an engaging mobile-first experience that will drive organic audiences to our products and services
- Streamline copies across channels such as catalog, email, social media and the website to ensure one singular brand voice.
- Work cross-functionally to ideate and execute dynamic content stories that amplify trending and seasonal topics, brand campaigns, news and events
- Be in touch with our user segments and key use cases to learn how to motivate various audiences to take action and deepen their engagement with our product
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
- At least 5 years’ experience in content marketing or copywriting
- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Detail-oriented and meticulous, able to uphold quality standards of style and grammar to produce high-quality edited content
- Ability to communicate complicated technology topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical audience
- Strong understanding of how writing and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand and within a product
