About the position

Report directly to the Operations Manager and Chief Operating Officer for daily operational tasks.

Senior Operations Executive will be responsible to monitor daily operational tasks for incoming shipments

and ensure consistent quality of the works done, in order to achieve business growth assigned by the company.

Main task is related to Import/Export customs clearance operation, Ocean/Sea Freight Arrangement, daily

system activities and deal with shipping line, customers, vendors and support to respective internal team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The work and role of Senior Operations Executive includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Solve daily operation problems either internally or externally caused
  • Ensure 100% compliance of the system event/data accuracy
  • Respond to customer complaints professionally and maintain client satisfying by ensuring the good customer service
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal departments on daily operations
  • Comply with company’s SOPs standards requirement
  • Control shipment expense and maximize profit
  • Make sure to be clearly understand customer’s SOP, dead line and requirements.
  • Need to understand our client’s needs and provide the best support in achieving their expectations
  • Coordinate and help provide full support to junior team
  • Ensure compliance of the department KPIs set up
  • Negotiation with customer compliant and Claim
  • Expertise on Customs Clearance process and Freight arrangement
  • Checking HS code for license, Non -License, OGD requirement and advise for all process.
  • Full knowledge for Local Transportations, fleet arrangement and Incoterms
  • Ensure proper closing each shipment
  • Maintain and follow company rules, regulations and Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Standards.
  • Other assignments by department Manager

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in customer service for Customs Clearance and ocean freight (Import & Export)
  • Any Bachelor Degree holder
  • Yellow card holder preferred

Skills and Requirements

  • Good command of English both writing and speaking
  • Computer literacy (excel, power point, words, email, etc.)
  • Must be able to work multi tasking well
  • Good team player
  • Good communication and PR person
  • Problem solving skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Challenging (well accepting changes)
