TL;DR
This is an opportunity for an experienced product designer to influence our product and culture as an early member of the Product and Engineering team. You might be a good fit if you enjoy building thoughtful products that empower its users in the consumer data / research space.
This role can grow into a managerial path or further IC (individual contributor) based on your interests, but it will be more of an IC role for the short term.
Must Haves
1. Experienced (not by the number of years but by overall maturity and growth in Product Design)
2. Willing to work as a solo designer (at least for the first 8-10 months), means you'll wear more hats than if you had a team
3. You should have strong opinions that are loosely held. There are cases where the form should dictate function and there are cases where the function should dictate form, and as a senior product designer, you should be able to identify which cases those are
4. Be opinionated around data visualisation and how insights are displayed
5. Be interested in our product and industry + joining a grassroots tech startup that is in the early stages of ASEAN expansion
Salary Range: MYR 7-9k
Note: We're based in Malaysia, but we're fully remote, so you don't need to be Malaysian or based in Malaysia for this role (but it's preferable if you are within the GMT+7 to +9 timezones).
