Innova Systems Ltd is a fast growing IT company in New Zealand. We aspire to offer the very best IT service levels to our clients.

To expand our technical support team we are seeking to engage a Senior Systems/Consulting Engineer to work with and support our existing team remotely. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, will have exceptional people and communication skills and will have above average command of verbal and written English.

If you can impress our clients with your proven technical ability and your friendly personality then this role is for you.

You will be reporting directly to the consulting engineer and will work with our existing team.

The role will suit a technical expert who already has experience at all levels of IT from client sites to enterprise infrastructure environments. The role also includes working closely alongside technical representatives at the client sites.


The following technical skills are a requirement:

  • Enterprise and enterprise cloud systems
  • Office 365
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Networking
  • Enterprise Storage
  • Windows client environments.
  • Familiarity with standard business IT requirements.
  • The ability to think critically and analytically
  • Tertiary level qualification in Business, IT, Computer Science or a related field will be a distinct advantage.

Your Role Will Include But Is Not Limited To
  • Providing first, second and third level support to clients remotely.
  • Provide phone assistance to client computer users.
  • Provide proactive monitoring for maintenance and incident resolution.
  • Ensure that infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
  • Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and action incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
  • Work within our strict administration and logging systems.
  • Participate in technical forums and demonstrate technical expertise and leadership
  • Ensuring zero missed service level agreement conditions.
  • Work within the team to provide the best possible outcome to our clients.
