Trainer- Cutting & Computer Aided Design - Aung Myin Hmu | New Day Jobs (Yangon, Myanmar)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: TRAINING AND COORDINATION

Ensure timely and quality delivery of technical trainings in Cutting and CAD;

• Deliver training according to a curriculum based on Aung Myin Hmu curriculum to groups of up to 20 trainees (face-to-face and online);
• Deliver training according to the four-step training method;
• Give presentations of optimized sewing methods;  Adjust the performance targets;  Run pre course aptitude tests;
• Monitor the trainees’ performance levels and ensure they are meeting targets;
• Set quality standards and control the quality of the training;
• Ensure good discipline and introduce safety standards;
• Prepare and invigilate final assessment.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 4 years of working experience working as a CAD operatory and Cutting room supervisor in garment factory.
• Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in teams
• Demonstrated strong personal commitment to the goal of women’s empowerment;
• A willingness to learn about CARE, gender equality and women’s empowerment activities;
• Proven ability to implement project activities with supervision;
• Demonstrated skills in participatory techniques, good interpersonal skills, planning, training and
• facilitation skills;
• Minimum good oral and written communication skills in both Myanmar and/or local language and;
• A willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team and experience in collaborative approaches to work

CUTTING ROOM:

• Fabric inspection
• Spreading with a spreading machine and manually
• Cutting with a straight knife and a band knife
• Panel checking and Bundle management
• Setting and monitoring targets

BASIC COMPUTER OPERATIONS

• Computer hardware and software
• Attaching CAD/CAM devices to computer system
• Manage CAD systems
• Pattern alteration
• Order Reading, Consumption, Ratio, Size Breakdown
• Drawing Marker Using CAD/CAM Software
• Experience with different garment types: Shirt, Jacket, Trouser, Suit, Coat, Underwear, Dress,
• Skirt, Polo shirt, T-shirt, Blouse

Desirable

• Experience working as a trainer
• Participations in Supervisory skills training
