Vice President Of Software Engineering - Virtue Hustlers | New Day Jobs (Yangon, Myanmar)

We are looking for a VP of Engineering to take the lead of our software engineering team. As VP of Engineering in a pre-launch VC-backed startup, it will be your responsibility to be hands-on together with one or two other developers in building our initial product from scratch as well as scaling and managing the engineering team as we grow.                    

 Skills:                                                                      

1. Frontend and backend mobile app development in hands-on and managerial contexts.
2. Experience with devops.
3. Proficient in up to date front-end and backend languages.

Requirements: 

1. Have experience either of early-stage startups either as founder or initial hire
2. Leading the team through management and mentorship.
3. Contributing to recruitment activities.
4. Developing standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent.
5. Preparing and optimizing budgets.
6. Recommending technological developments and improvements on efficiency.
7. Developing the team to ensure quality end products.
