Primary Purpose of Role
Manage the sales and distribution set up within a designated sales area to deliver the volume, revenue and retail distribution targets set.Develop volume and revenue targets for the region, manage direct costs, and develop an efficient, motivated and effective team.Manage the distribution partners within the region, to ensure that they are operating according to Carlsberg Myanmar operating standards for the sales, distribution and warehousing of our products.
Manage and develop the team: Prepare regional sales forecasts; establish targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share or business development and monitor the performance of the organisation against these goals; adjust sales strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
Contribute to business planning to develop sales strategies and plans for the region that are consistent with the organisation’s overall vision and long-term objectives.
Oversee the region sales budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimise resources and prioritise spending.
Establish, maintain and develop positive relationships with Customers, manage a network of distributors/ dealers.
Responsible for collection in time and follow-up of outstanding
Ensure healthy product mix in line with the organizational goal
Ensure achievement of the sales volumes
Build strong visibility in outlets and execute on company’s brand activities
Track competition volumes and monitor competitor activities to evaluate brand performance and adjust the strategy and action plans.
Tracking distribution and sales performance on monthly basis
Educational /Qualifications requirements:
Fluency in English
Native Burmese Speaker
Previous Experience Requirements: +5 yrs in operational management role, ideally in FMCG/beer environment
Effective, positive and energetic attitude
Innovative and systematic person capable of cooperating across the function
Ability to communicate clearly - Decent presentations skills
Team-orientation and ability to coach the team
Strong leadership skills
Action-oriented, persistent and result oriented
Solid planning/organizing skills
Positive attitude towards beer and alcohol industry

Managed by a capable team including skilled brewmasters from the Carlsberg Group and skilled local employees, the facility uses high quality water, the famous Bago rice and imported raw materials, such as malt and hops.
