Job Description

- Development and Planning - Trade Marketing Activations
Lead from planning to execution and reporting of trade activations while ensuring alignment with brand strategy & objectives. Ensure effective channel support through the development of programs with objectives and KPIs in line to the role of each channel, and the overall strategy. Having a commercial mindset at all times - especially when assessing investments of each activation and the returns in objectives they generate.

In terms of process, there are 3 in which the incumbent is heavily involved in. He or she is tasked to manage these processes and other stakeholders throughout the development of programs beginning with the involvement of other M&S functions in objective setting, Legal, CA and Finance, in compliance checks, and the field teams for localization and execution. The incumbent will also be our primary contact window with any third-party agencies through whom these activations are run.
- Procure-Pay Process between JTI and its third-party vendors
- Field Brief Process between M&S
- Programs Development Process within internal JTI Myanmar stakeholders

- Development and Planning - Trade Engagement Activations
Lead from planning to execution and reporting of programs aimed at trade engagement. Using the segmentation framework, the incumbent is tasked to develop Loyalty Programs, Trade Events, and other tailored programs targeted at key retailers across channels.
In terms of process, there are 3 in which the incumbent is heavily involved in. He or she is tasked to manage these processes and other stakeholders throughout the development of programs beginning with the involvement of other M&S functions in objective setting, Legal, CA and Finance, in compliance checks, and the field teams for localization and execution. - Cross-Functional Communication and Reporting
As an activation associate it will be critical to collaborate with key stakeholders within marketing (Brand, SI, other activations teams) and the field force. As an activation associate, this position is also intended to support all field driven programs and serve as a bridge between marketing and field.
Essential to the role is accountability to his or her projects which will be demonstrated to not just measuring results but also reporting and sharing these reporting cross-functionally.

- Budget Management and Compliance
As a trade activation associate, he or she will be partly managing the biggest marketing expenditures of JTI. With this, it is critical that the incumbent not just manages project spend vs. their potential returns but also ensures that his or her projects are compliant to the JTI operating guidelines and the local processes of JTI Myanmar.

Job Requirements

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Below-the-Line activations in FMCG companies
- Previous experience that is process oriented and highly involves other functions and third-party vendors is a plus
- Must have a good marketing or sales back office experience exhibiting traits of excellent project management and getting things done in accordance to a timeline
- Sales operations experience is a plus
- Fluency in both in English and Burmese
- Fluency in business writing is a plus
- Competence in MS Office Applications is a must
