As a project coordinator, you will work with other Phandeeyar Teams, local NGOs, CSOs, Government Partners and private organizations to promote data literacy, digital campaigns, and data-driven decisions to uplift marginalized communities. Key responsibilities include:Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.Participate in the preparation of the program budget by providing accurate estimates of workload.Maintain the quality of the delivery by setting up standards, methods and processes.Work with NGO/CSO/Government partners and design how to use data to improve their program.Write quarterly progress reports in English for donors and partnersExample of projects :Develop and customize curriculums in Burmese for data literacy training Give hands-on data literacy training to marginalized communities with the support of project team members. Create data-driven communities outside of Yangon.Coordinate with different teams and the communities to run digital campaigns.Support the communities in creating data-driven stories and products with the help of partner organizations and team members. Promote the idea of open data, data literacy and digital campaigns in rural communities of Myanmar.  Essential RequirementsEnglish - You must be able to speak, read and write in both English and Burmese very well. Project management skills – You are great at getting things done. You’re a self-starter who takes the initiative and can mobilize resources and solve problems. You can juggle multiple projects and you have good attention to detail.Problem solving skills - You must have experience in problem scoping and have the ability to break down complex, social problems. Flexible - This particular position requires you to travel and interact with on-the-ground marginalized communities. It is important that you have an open-mindset and cultural sensitivity to work well with other stakeholders. Communications – You’re a good communicator and able to communicate technical concepts effectively and concisely to non-techies. .
