Job summary:

  • The Gate Clerk is to provide support to the gate operations and clerical support for the release and receipt of the containers.
  • Inspection responsibilities of cargo, including checking documents, custom inspection, damages etc.;

  • Attempt appropriate resolution for issues related to delivery/receipt delays of cargo;
  • Gate Support Services: detecting damage, damage reports, assigning containers, make sure general cargo is secure and is safe to leave port area;
  • Updates relevant information in operating system
  • Performs Gate In / Gate Out transactions, issues Pick-up / Drop off tickets & EIR
  • Stop all outbound drivers and have the driver sign off
  • Provides complete and accurate reports where required

Requirements:

  • Female: 25-35 year.
  • Vocational certificate/Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in port container yard, warehouse or other relevant information.
  • Technical Competencies (e.g. Corporate Alliance - Formulating an effective PR brief etc).
  • Knowledge of documents inbound-outbound, computer skills of word, excel, PowerPoint and e-mail.
  • All the warehouse process must be correct and carefully.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Good knowledge & experience in Microsoft Office.

Logistics & Supply Chain Manager

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinates with business units for Sales and Operations Planning
- Collaborates with regional supply chain and logistics teams in order to develop solutions with 3PL providers to support business expansion
- Leads and develops the supply chain team to ensure the strategy execution within Myanmar
- Proven experience in service, cost, and contract negotiations with 3PLs providers and other suppliers.
- Communicates and works with all levels of the organization.
- Manages a large multi-function program or a set of projects. Interacts with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- Inventory management, forecasting, working capital planning, KPI settings.
- Achieves maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value
- Ensures a safe working environment that continuously improves the Health and Safety of workers
- Introduces a culture of continuous improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Must have Bechelor Degree and prefer Diploma holders in related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in logistics & supply chain including 5 years experience in managerial role in multinational organizations
- Proficient in MS Office and English Language
- Possess leadership quality and able to lead and motivate the whole team
- Knowledge of ISO and SAP is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet custom.
  • Have good relations with co-loader / carrier / shipping lines / airlines / custom.


Job Requirements


  • Age under 30 years with good health is required.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with 1 year operation experience is needed.
  • English with fluent 4 skills
  • Good customer service mindset, honest, friendly.
